What is the classic teether made of?
One hundred percent natural rubber tapped from hevea trees, decorated with food-grade paint — the same recipe used since 1961 in the French Alps.
How do I clean natural rubber?
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Never boil, sterilize with steam or submerge the squeaky teether — water can enter the whistle and heat damages the rubber.
Why does every Sophie squeak differently?
Each figure is hand-finished, so tone and spot pattern vary slightly — no two are exactly alike.
From what age are the toys suitable?
Rattles and swaddles suit newborns; the classic teether shines from around 3 months when gums start aching; bath books and spray toys are marked 6+ months; cups and cutlery join the table after the first birthday.
